In our pursuit to locate the perfect pie Lafa and some friends ventured to Staunton, Virginia to visited the famous Mrs. Rowe's restaurant. I have to say that the pie was just ok, but the trip there was a lot of fun and the fried chicken was great.
Leslie and I also went to see James McMurtry play. The venue that his show was held in looked like a trip back to the 1970s and a man that I sat next to said the last time he had been there (1972 for a dance) the place looked exactly the same. I think that gave a little charm to the place. Anyway, the show was great.
